Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) would on Friday at its 13th Convocation ceremony in Ogbomoso graduate 105 first class degree students and 112 from its doctorate degree programme.
The institution’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Adeniyi Gbadegesin, while speaking at a news conference in Ogbomoso yesterday to herald the convocation ceremony, said the 13th convocation ceremony would hold from April 15 to 23.
According to him, it will include graduates from 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 sessions.
He said that 50 of the 105 first class graduates are for the 2013/2014 session, while the remaining 55 are from the 2014/2015 session.
“Mr Olufemi Ige, with a CGPA of 4.85 from the Mathematics Department emerged the best student of the 2013/2014 session. Miss Saidat Sanni of the Statistics Department emerged the best in the 2014/2015 session with a CGPA of 4.88 and the overall best student of the two sets,” he said.
