Guaranty Trust Bank has renovated the Kofar Kudu primary school and girls secondary school in the Kano emirate palace, the school attended by late Kano emir, Alhaji Ado Bayero and the father of the present Kano emir in the 1930s.
The over seven-decade-old school has graduated multiple princes and princesses as well as a number of high flying personalities, it resided right inside the Kano emirate traditional house.
Kofar Kudu primary and girls secondary school was relocated to permanent place in the palace by the then Kano emir, the father of late Bayero, late Alhaji Abdullahi Bayero.
In his appreciations remarks, the Kano emir, Muhammad Sanusi II, commended the goodwill of the bank in rebuilding the historic school with befitting outlook.
Emir Sanusi also extended his appreciations to ACE for establishing a model laboratory in the school and to the government for doing what it could to better the education of younger population.
