BIDA SEEKS COLLABORATION WITH FUTMINNA

The Federal polytechnic, Bida, Niger State, is seeking collaboration with the Federal University of Technology, Minna, to run Bachelor’s degree programmes through affiliation with the university.

This was disclosed recently during a meeting between the Directorate of Collaborations, Affiliations, and Linkages (DCAL) Federal University of Technology (FUT) Minna, Niger State, and the management of Federal Polytechnic, Bida, which took place in the Polytechnic.

The Rector, Federal Polytechnic Bida, Dr. Abubakar Dzukogi who was represented by the Deputy Rector, Mr. Augustine Oghenejivwe, explained that the rationale for the meeting was to initiate series of collaborations and to tap from the wealth of experience of FUT MINNA to attract grants and other areas of mutual benefits.

In his explanation on the various areas of collaborations and affiliation that could be cemented between the two institutions, the head of FUT Minna delegation who is the Director Collaborations, Affiliations and linkages, Prof Ogbonanya Chukwu advised that FPB can start running Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng) and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree
