ASUTH Students Protest Over Cut-off Electricity Supply

Abia State University medical students protested today prior to sleeping in darkness for 5 weeks. The students claimed that it all started when the PHCN presented an outrageous bill of 17 million naira for the quarter's, excluding the hospital complex.

The students further stated that the hospital administration quietly cut off the light supply to the students and resident doctors. For 5 weeks, for which nothing has been done. Sleeping in darkness, reading is difficult.
