Miss Olowoyeye Oluwanifesimi, a graduate of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti (EKSU), Miss Olowoyeye Oluwanifesimi has petitioned the registrar of the West African Examination Council (WAEC), Dr. Uyi Uwadiaye, over alleged alteration of her WAEC result online which she obtained in 2008.
Olowoyeye, who gained admission to study Geography/Planning Science at the university in 2009/2010 session said the development was threatening her being mobilized by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) for national service.
In the examination she sat for in 2008 with the number 4140208099, she recorded good grades in seven subjects including Geography C4, English Language C6, Yoruba Language C5, Mathematics B3, Agricultural Science D7, Biology C5, Physics B3, Chemistry C4 and Economics C4.
The lady said to her surprise, Economics and Chemistry where she was awarded C4 in her certificate were cancelled in the new online result released by the examination body leaving others intact.
She lamented that the alteration was discovered while checking her result online on January 4, this year for the purpose of using it for clearance for youth service.
