Infrastructural Development: Peter Obi Donates N1M to School

The Former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, while paying a courtesy visit on Friday to St. Matthew Anglican Primary School, Eziagu, in Orumba South Local Government, Anambra State charged the pupils to always pay obedience to their parents as well as their teachers and take their studies seriously so as to be successful in life. The school is owned by the Archbishop of Aguata, Most Rev. Dr. Christian Efobi.

Obi donated one million naira to the school to assist them upgrade their infrastructure; he stated that he would henceforth take special attention to the development of the school. He as well urged wealthy Nigerians to assist citadel of learning around them.

In response to this, the Headmaster commended the former Governor for extending is hands of generosity towards the school. He further said that the funds donated will eventually affects its productivity in terms of motivation to teachers and also a long life inspiration to the pupils.

Mr. Peter Obi’s visit to this remote area has been an unbelievable, but turned a surprised visit. The Headmaster added.
